For more than 75 years A-1 Italian Deli has been serving the community of San Pedro as a premier Grocery store located on 8th Street and offers a wide range of imported goods and delicious deli options. In 2023 Nino Palma and Tom Roberto, both formerly of Certi-Fresh, took over the store making them the fourth owners of this longtime San Pedro establishment. When Nino was a young boy he used to work at the store so when it was listed for sale in 2023 it was an easy decision for him to get involved. Tom was in the meat business for 45 years and always dreamed of having a deli. Together they are bringing decades of meat and fish expertise to this quaint little neighborhood store. With the help of their families and their dedicated staff, many of whom have worked here for several years, the store continues to be a thriving part of the San Pedro community.
